Pioneer is a village located in West Carroll Parish, Louisiana. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 171.

Geography

Pioneer is located at 32°44'12" North, 91°26'4" West (32.736730, -91.434523)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²). 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 171 people, 65 households, and 39 families residing in the village. The population density is 60.6/km² (157.2/mi²). There are 70 housing units at an average density of 24.8/km² (64.3/mi²).
