Minnie the Minx

Minnie the Minx is a fictional character from the pages of The Beano who is a world champion "minx". She is a sort of female counterpart to Dennis the Menace, even wearing a similar red-and-black jumper. She is tougher than most most boys; to tell the truth she is tougher than most army batons (?). Minnie has a cat called Chester, who has a rival called Bonzo the dog from number twelve.

Minnie was created by Leo Baxendale in 1953 and was drawn by Jim Petrie between 1961 and 2001.
