Hitman 2: Silent Assassin

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is a computer and game console video game that was produced by Eidos Interactive[?] and developed by IO Interactive A/S[?]. The game is a sequel to the successful 2001 game Hitman[?], and has been released in various countries, including the United States and Japan.

The game has a considerable amount of violence: it begins with the player hiding from the Mafia inside a church in Sicily, and with the player's best friend, the church's father, being kidnapped. After that, the player must travel to such distinct locations as mainland Italy and Russia and perform different missions, in order to try to rescue the father. Many types of different guns and killing devices are available to the player.

The game was released at about the same time as a competitor game was released, the competitor, Mafia being somewhat similar.
