Cedar Fort is located at 40°19'35" North, 112°6'20" West (40.326300, -112.105613)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²). 4.1 km² (1.6 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

As of the census of 2000, there are 341 people, 101 households, and 83 families residing in the town. The population density is 82.8/km² (214.7/mi²). There are 110 housing units at an average density of 26.7/km² (69.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 95.89% White, 0.00% African American, 0.59% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.29% Pacific Islander, 0.29% from other races, and 2.64% from two or more races. 0.88% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
