Cedar Bluff is a town located in Cherokee County, Alabama. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town is 1,467.

Geography

Cedar Bluff is located at 34°13'14.182" North, 85°35'45.596" West (34.220606, -85.595999).

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 10.7 km² (4.1 mi²). 10.3 km² (4.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.40% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 1,467 people, 630 households, and 444 families residing in the town. The population density is 142.7/km² (369.3/mi²). There are 975 housing units at an average density of 94.8/km² (245.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 87.18% White, 11.38% African American, 0.27% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.07% from other races, and 0.89% from two or more races. 0.89% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
