Bygland Township is a township located in Polk County, Minnesota. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 297.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 72.9 km² (28.2 mi²). 72.9 km² (28.2 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

As of the census of 2000, there are 297 people, 106 households, and 83 families residing in the township. The population density is 4.1/km² (10.5/mi²). There are 109 housing units at an average density of 1.5/km² (3.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.64% White, 0.34% African American, 0.67% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.35% from two or more races. 1.01% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
