Boaz is a village located in Richland County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 137.

Geography

Boaz is located at 43°19'51" North, 90°31'38" West (43.330793, -90.527280)¹.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.4 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 137 people, 64 households, and 41 families residing in the village. The population density is 146.9/km² (383.2/mi²). There are 67 housing units at an average density of 71.9/km² (187.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 99.27% White, 0.00% African American, 0.73% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 64 households out of which 28.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.3% are married couples living together, 10.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 35.9% are non-families. 26.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
