Ahnapee is a town located in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 977.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 80.7 km² (31.2 mi²). 80.2 km² (31.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.61% water.

As of the census² of 2000, there are 977 people, 371 households, and 277 families residing in the town. The population density is 12.2/km² (31.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.85% White, 0.31% African American, 0.61% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.92% from other races, and 0.31% from two or more races. 2.15% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
