Do not intentionally purchase manmade , synthetic or lab created stones and offer genuine real gemstones.

~ Why gemstones ?   Their glitter and sparkle has been valued for centuries for collectors , for investments , and for style. The very rare stones are actively sought after and prized.

~ What do we offer ?   We strive to find common , unique and rare gem stones that our customers seek and supply a high level of service to our customers. Sell facet , cab & tumbling rough ; mineral specimen stones & crystals ; loose natural faceted cut gems ; gemstone cabochons ; jewelry ; craft items etc.

~ Why buy rough gemstones ?   Buying high and lower grade facet and cab rough stones and having them cut by a qualified cutter lessens the cost of purchasing at the high retail costs and gives the customer and cutter greater flexibility in determining how the stone will be cut or shaped. Some will purchase rough and have them cut and then sell them while. others want a stone designed for themselves or as a gift to others.

~ Who are our customers ?   Faceters and cabbers who cut and form stones with lapidary equipment, custom jewelery crafters , tumblers , gemstone collectors , gemcutters & carvers , gem clubs & schools , gemology mineral specimen students , consumers of fine cut stones , anyone who loves gems ...

~ What to look for when buying gem stones : 4cs ( Color Clarity Carat Cut )

The color is one of the most important attributes to look for when purchasing a stone. Top color in stones adds to their value.

The clarity is an attribute of a gemstone that refers to how clear a stone is. Some gemstones are known to have excellent clarity and only under high magnification will any inclusions be found. Others are known for some inclusions and if not excessive will still cut a very nice stone and do not affect their desirability. GIA grading standards break these types of stones into stone Types.
Type I: Usually clean ( aquamarine citrine tanzanite ... )
Type II: Inclusions common ( peridot sapphire tourmaline garnet [all] spinel [all] ... )
Type III: Normally have inclusions ( emerald rubellite red beryl ... )
With Type II some inclusions are expected and do not affect them being desirable ; as with Type III , unless they have many inclusions they are still cut into very nice stones

The carat weight of the stone is important due to the value of the stone. Gems are typically sold based on the number of carats

The cut or shape of the stone ~ The dimensions of a stone helps cutters determine how a stone will be cut and for customers it is the cut they are seeking (e.g. oval round marquise pear princess trillian square emerald heart etc.)

A couple people through the years wanted proof that a stone is genuine prior to buying, thus the following explanation. Believe in explaining about some possiblities but believe most sellers of gems etc. are selling real natural gemstones unless they state otherwise. There is no way for the majority of gemstone sellers to supply proof and most will not give out their suppliers which may be the reason for the few enquiries before purchasing. Many of our items were purchased going back in years which greatly reduces possiblities of issues since there are many lab created and non standard treated for the type of stones nowadays, where it was not as prevalent a few years back but have a high confidence in our stones. We do not test every stone and with stones like quartz and topaz they can be typically heat treated and rough emeralds oiled as can be a somewhat common practice, but if the supplier does not say will either state none or unknown in the treatment section of the description ( will assume none if supplier does not state or know, but still a remote possibility as some stones would need a gemologist to determine, which is why we purchased from established suppliers for the most part and selective for the rest ) - some may state they absolutely know ( which unfortunately is a non-intentional false claim they can guarantee as whom they purchased from can say the same , when all they should guarantee is a customer will get their money back if it is determined otherwise unless they have authentication certificates from reputable places which is expensive - some will not share their certificate of authenticity due to it gives the suppliers name ). Only professionals would for sure as they have expensive sophisticated equipment. We do refunds. Not experts in this field but have a good general knowledge. Some like a few tumbled stones that came in larger mixed gemstone lots were not marked when purchased as to what they are so do best to identify and use words like believe or think etc. in the description if not pretty sure. All stone lots were purchased as natural gemstones but did receive some goldstones which are lab created which we state in the description ( some say they are still real but we prefer mother earth created versus man made stones ). We saw cut and tumble some of our rough and other stones were purchased from suppliers.
