Product DescriptionGet a pest deterrent and burglar alarm in one! The YardContro electronic yard fence helps keep outdoor spaces free from unwanted pests or trespassers by creating an undetectable, 360 degree radar zone covering an approximately 30 ft. (700 sq. ft.) area. When the built-in motion sensor detects an intrusion, it responds by emitting a high-frequency 120dB sound blast and flashing a powerful strobe light. A selector switch lets you choose how it responds. To fend off dogs, cats and other wild animals, use the ultrasonic mode, which emits an alarm that's bothersome to animals, but inaudible to humans. To scare away human trespassers or would-be thieves, use the standard mode that everyone can hear. The YardContro features weatherproof design for indoor or outdoor use, even in wet weather. Runs on 4 'D' batteries for up to 2,000 10-second sound releases (batteries not included). Includes brackets for easy mounting to walls, fences, trees or posts. Manufacturer's part number YC12.

This just didn't work well...sometimes it worked when it was suppose to sometimes it didn't :-( we found it to be useless not helpful. We returned it...

Rating: - Good protection against otters
This works well to keep otters off of docks and out of boats. Unfortunately, they only seem to last about one year. I have had otters poop all over a boat and dock and chew up boat seats. It's worth the price, for sure.

Rating: - Lentek YardContro-Awful !!!
does not work as advertised..........the first 2 I ordered needed to be returned.......one didn't work at all and the other only worked if a moving object came with 6-8 inches !!! the 2 replacments were somewhat better....but still activate only if a moving object comes with 3-4 feet at best !!! A far cry form the "Up to 15 Feet" that Lentek advertises.
Very disappointed and would consider paying more money to another company that provided a product that actually works !!! Ricky Fermoyle

I wanted a product that would dissuade small animals from invading my pool and leaving deposits. This product, although stating that it had variable sensibility - close or up to 15 feet, and a frequency from audible to way high above what the human ear can hear, did not perform as described. Wherever I walked in front of the device, and at whatever sensitivy, it registered until I was right in front, then failed to respond. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased 2 units. When you get the unit, the documentation packed inside clearly states that the range is 15 feet. Check the advertisement here and note it leads you to believe the range is 30 feet. What's more...I totally agree with several of the reviewers here who have stated that it's more like 5 feet.
